Our History

Klingel Italiana was founded in 1968 in Paderno Dugnano, close to Milan.

The company Klingel Italiana born as distributor of electric products and in 1969 Klingel Italiana started to represent the Germany company Grote & Hartmann in Wuppertal. The GHW GmbH born in the early 1900s as manufacturer of terminals, connection systems and equipment’s for the automotive industry, appliances industry, telecommunications, commerce and industry.

Investing in research and technological innovation in few years the company developed in a multinational company with headquarters around the world.

In 1995 Klingel Italiana became Grote & Hartmann Italia, due to the strong success in selling their products and other brands, some in exclusive for the Italian market, as BIMED, DMC, PCE MERZ, PRESSMASTER, SAVOY TECHNOLOGY, SCHLEMMER and WALTHER WERKE.

In 2004 Grote & Hartmann was bought by Lear Corporation.

Klingel Italiana became the official distributor of Lear Corporation ex GHW GmbH of terminals and connectors, junction boxes and machinery to produce wire harnesses, primarily for the automotive industry, appliances industry, telecommunications, commerce and industry.

With the support of an effective sales structure and qualified engineers, Klingel Italiana is able to supply innovative and technical solutions suitable for any particular requirements.
